I have the latest version of Calibre but I cannot see the device interfaces plugins at all, is this possible?

Plugins on the Preferences MENU is USER plugins only.

You need to open the full Preferences, the near the bottom, you will see Plugins: this is All of them

Thanks so much, found it!

You go to preferences>plugins
Click on little arrow beside device interface plugins and scroll down to Sony PRSTI

Hi All,

I am experiencing the same problem with the T1 on my new laptop. Everything worked fine on my old one. I can mount the device and copy books which are being recognised.

I am running Slackware64 Current with kernel 3.4, Calibre 0.8.63, python 2.7.3. I tried running the same kernel from my old laptop on my new one, but that didn't help. Debug device detection:

I installed all dependancies and created Calibre from source. Now my reader is recognised. I guess there was some discrepancy between my distribution and the python installer.

Slackbuild script for -current can be found at : slackblogs.blogspot.nl
