inserting a "ruled Line" /chapter and page breaks

if i choose both or ruled line, what does the ruled line means?
how can i specify, what is in (the ruled line).

If I recall correctly the "Ruled Line" is a single gray line across the top of the new page or between chapters if you didn't choose the page break option.

<hr /> defaults to single line.

Color (and Background for the 'groove' or noshade)

'Center' does not work in ADE (for fractional HR), so you juggle the:
Margin-Left : 25% ; /* for a 50% Wide rule */
