Exclamation [Error] Metadata in FB2

When I modify some value in the metadata of a FB2 file, why these are not recorded in the file?
This is a problem when I transfer the file to my Papyre because it reads the metadata but these don't match those stored in Calibre.
Regards.

The metadata in a file is only updated in the following scenarios:
- Send To disk
- Send to Device
- Conversions

Sure!?
In the first case is false, at least with FB2.
In the second case, I can't test it because the Papyre (it's a Hanlin's clone) isn't recognized by Calibre as device.
In the third, I don't know.

But the important thing, I think, is that info must be stored/modified in file, no only save in database, when I modify the metadata.

Writing metadata to an existing FB2 file is not supported.
