TigerDirect.ca is now offering the Pocket eDGe (in Black only) for $499 and is in stock.

Fortunately, we're leaving for Europe/Australia tomorrow and I have a feeling that after packing, I'll be telling myself I don't want a single thing more in my carryon bag.

Today I noticed you can now buy the black Pocket eDGe directly from enTourage: http://www.entourageedge.com/devices/pocketedge.html. For Canadians, this offers a much cheaper $399 + $66 shipping option (approximately $490 CAD with the dollar at 0.975, and assuming you, like me with past purchases, won't pay brokerage fees or taxes) compared to TigerDirect's $499 + $66 HST + $7 shipping (approx $570 CAD).

Interesting. I wonder if manufacturing volume is up significantly, or are sales, therefore the drop in retail pricing...?
