Thrilling Detective was the first of Ned Pines's long line of pulp magazines, starting in 1931 and running for an amazing 213 issues before folding in Summer 1953. A British reprint edition ran for at least 88 issues between 1939 and 1954. There was also a Canadian reprint edition during the same period.
