Problem accessing secure OPDS feed with redirect

Found an OPDS feed that Marvin isn't capable of handling

I found this feed on the demo page of this site @ http://personalbookspace.com which offers an online personal library with OPDS feed and full text search plus other extra's.

The most important of the two feeds listed for demo purposes is
http://personalbookspace.com/home/demo/

The problem here is that they use an invalid SSL certificate (wrong server name) and need to fix that. Marvin should absolutely *not* work around that because it would potentially compromise security.

A quick look gives me no reason to dwell - it appears very expensive and if they haven't tested Marvin (not on their list of supported apps) a real non-starter for me.

Hello,

Marvin has been tested now, so you can use the service in it.

Best regards,

What about counting not as generic Dropbox/Copy-style storage but as service which provide _full-text-searchable_ OPDS feed for your books?

Unrelated to Marvin, just letting you know that clicking on "Account" on your site in the Opera browser on Windows 7 generates the following warning/error message:

Code:
Wrong Certificate Name

The server's certificate did not match its hostname. Accept?
It appears the certificate is issued for pincette.net, but the hostname is personalbookspace.com.

Hello,

The website has been separated from the book service itself. The service is now at https://pb.pincette.net/, while the site remains at http://www.personalbookspace.com/. This solves the certificate issue and gives you encryption of the connection and hence your credentials.

The rent unit has also been increased from 1 GB to 5 GB for the same price.

It is now also possible to synchronise your books with your desktop. See also http://www.personalbookspace.com/faq.xhtml. This simplifies the management of your books, especially if you have a lot of them and have structured it in folders and subfolders. Everything will be replicated on the server. Uploading this way also gives you automatic cover and meta-data (title, author, abstract, identifier) extraction and full-text search on the server, just like with any other way you want to upload, e.g. via WebDAV. This will also be available in your e-reader.

Best regards,

Werner.
