Personal Tip #3,844 - Changing Covers

When swapping one cover for a different one, be sure to delete the old cover from the Images folder in the Book Browser. Otherwise, it may turn up as a thumbnail or the cover itself in some reader. Very surprising when it happens. - Fabe

Well, I think it did happen because the old image still had the semantic role of "Cover"

So, when you swap one cover image for a new one, be sure to right-click the new image on the book browser, "Add Semantics" -> "Cover" ... and then you can keep the old image in the epub without any fear of it reappearing where you last expect it

Actually, I did that. The "old" cover did not lose its status and was alphabetically first. For me, keeping the "old" cover in the epub is a waste of space. - Fabe
