Spiderman
My son is a big fan of all of the spider man cartoons from the original 60s spider man that used to talk to himself a lot to the recent Ultimate Spiderman and me being the king of obscure trivia was left one evening wondering why J. J. Jameson hates spider man so and my son claims that in one of the many episodes Jameson actually tells us why he dislikes the wall crawler so much. Does anyone recall why jameson dislikes spider man so?

Because Spiderman actually goes out and risks himself to do the right thing. The brave thing. Jameson wants to be well thought of while sitting in his office.

I think it boils down to two things:
A masked vigilante is dealing out justice outside of the law. Sensationalism sells papers. Eventually JJJ just begins to believe his own rhetoric. |
