Jetbook Color Stylus

Hi

Has anyone tried another stylus for the JBC than the original? I tried one from a wacom tablett, but it doesn't work. For me the original stylus is to small. And maybe with an other stylus the "writting position" is more exactly?

They sell them on their website (Ectaco).
You can buy an extra one, subtract the internals and install it in another device like a regular pen.
You can even install it in a straw or small wooden chopstick.

As far as precision, they are pretty precise if you ask me!

I tested Wacom Bamboo Pen&Touch Pen and it also does not work.

In the video "Jetbook color Vs Pocketbook PRO 912", the Jetbook Stylus seems to work on Pocketbook too (see time 3':40'')

you need a "penabled" stylus not one of the bamboo or intuos ones. basically you are looking for wacom pens that work for devices from companies other than wacom themselves. like ones that were made for windows tablets etc.

The basic problem is that wacom and hanvon both have a similar technology. I suspect that since the hardware is from Hanvon the stylus and touch technology is also from Hanvon. You will likely need a Hanvon stylus.

Probably the pen functions much like a store security sticker.
It has a specific size antenna, that resonates on a specific frequency. If the antenna's size is off, the frequency will be off, and both won't be compatible, or only partial compatible (meaning if they even have a few Mhz off, they will 'sometimes' work).

I presume it's something like this...

An obvious thing: When you try a pen on JBC, you MUST remove the original stylus from it's hole so JBC will enable the stylus input
