Looking for spicy (and easy) recipies
I don't know how it happened but the wife and I have both developed an overwhelming craving for spicy foods to the point that we put peppers and chili powder in almost everything lately.
Does anybody have any easy recipes for really spicy food or know of an online resource I could check out? |

Try these two: http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2...zo-recipe.html and http://www.finecooking.com/recipes/s...r-burrito.aspx.
The hominy casserole became a family favorite the first time I made it (3 different peppers, plus chorizo heat in there). With the burrito recipe doubling the chipotle and ando sauce amounts will bring up the fire. If I did that at my house I'd have to make a second batch at normal ratios, as some said the original recipe is plenty strong as is. |

Try this shrimp and grits recipe. You can add more cayenne pepper to suit your taste. It's similar to shrimp étouffée.
http://www.spicelines.com/2008/06/re...shrimp_and.htm The shrimp recipe also works with rice. (I like to use yellow rice with it) |
