Character with accent: è, é, ò, à, ù, ì. How?
Hi 2 all
sorry for the noobness of the question, but i was trying to do some search into the files I uploaded into the kindle 2 and i went into this problem. how can I input a character with an accent? Like those in the title of the thread: è, é, ò, à, ì. i desperately need to be able to search words like "omogeneità" thanks for sharing your experiences and sorry for my poor english. db |

There isn't a way to type one in, that I have ever heard of. It may be possible to look up a word via a dictionary that supports the language in question (e.g. highlight the foreign word, and have it looked up in the foreign dictionary), but I'm not 100% sure.

Although you can't enter accented characters, you can still search for them by entering the unaccented equivalents.
For example, if you search for cafe, you will find café as well as cafe. |
