These tales are set mostly in the 1920s and 1930s, and in locations like Hong Kong and western Ireland.

Any chance of getting *one* story as a freebie somewhere? I have an awful lot competing for my attention today, and next up are the J.S. Morin free books to see if I want to invest in his series...

This isn't a self-published book, Curt ... it's out from Weird House Press in Oregon, and that being the case there are no loose stories floating round. But you can read almost the entire title story -- the other 4 tales are short novels -- by simply going to THE HOWLING TERROR's Amazon page and clicking on LOOK INSIDE.

Weird House Press is the new venture of editor and publisher Joe Morey, who ran the award-winning Dark Regions Press for decades. He published four of my short story collections, one novella and the third novel in my Raine's Landing supernatural series while there. And Weird House has so far published this Lovecraftian collection and After Dark: The Best Horror Fiction of Tony Richards. I'll be putting together a new collection for them next month.
