PocketBook Era - Book preview image
Hi guys,

Something changed a few months ago, before i could see on the book cover the name and the author of the book, now .... with the same database, i only see the author.(see attached jpeg)

Same problem in the homepage, but also in the library.

Any solutions? Or am i the only one with this problem?

I guess because it's an archive of epubs i downloaded.

it's strange that it used to be ok... don't know what changed...

What happens if you put these eBooks in calibre and used calibre via USB to side load them?

Does this issue affect all books on the device, or just selection?

If you rename one of the affected book files, maybe add _temp.epub to the end, after the library refreshes any change?

I imported the books in calibre - generated some covers for all of them and then loaded through the app on the device.

Worked great!

It affected all the books on the device (5200 books) ... before this - i used to see the book name and the author(form the file name) - after this i was shown a preview of the first page(cover) - but because the book had no cover, i only saw the Author.

No idea what has changed but, with help from here, i solved it through Calibre.
