New Recipe
Here is a new Recipe for slashdot org. This recipe doesn't download the comments. If you want the recipe to download the comments, you might be able to achieve this by opening the slashdot.py file and delete the following line:
dict(name='span',attrs={'class':'comments'}), |

Yes this one is different. The one that's a default recipe has never worked for me (I just tried it again and let it sit like 45 minutes and it got stuck at 2% downloaded). Mine works. It's not pretty since I don't know python, but it works.

Well I updated the builtin recipe the keep and remove_tags from yours, which fixed it
|
