I would.. but I think it is now a bigger case as more and more firmwares are going around.
For myself I hope that GeoffR will make more patches, one for mark 4, one for mark 5 etc because the chance of making a mistake would be greater because the patch files will be bigger and bigger.
I think he is already working on the patches,hence, without the patches i will never upgrade, he is the patchman !!

I agree....I don't much like it without the patch. I put it on my back up Glo. So it's ok. But I will leave the other Glo alone until there is a patch.

I've just made quick tests with the new firmware:

<img> rendering has been fixed in Kepubs. (Original bug description here).
pdf issues (abysmal speed on some pdfs and AES 256 encrypted ones being impossible to open) remain unchanged :
Cookie support in WebBrowser seems to continue broken. As example your login is not remembered here in mobileread forums even if you tick "remember me" option. :

Hi ! no change for the sideloaded kepub (stat menu from the reading) from 3.13.1 or from 3.12.1 (no stats at all form inside de book ?). I don't want to loose these =)

The in-book stats (chapter bar graph etc.) work for sideloaded kepubs in 3.15.0, same as in 3.13.1.

Now that Geoff has released his patcher for 3.15 I updated (thank you for all your work Geoff!).

My H2O feels faster, having gone from 3.13 may be the reason. I don't notice ghosting when opening menus either in the book or in my library. I did note some oddness with margins when I first opened a book (after patching), but adjusting the margin solved this and it's not happened again.

I have to agree the H2O feels snappier.
The pageturn speed in epubs seems to be on par with kepubs before the patch. (Haven't tested if kepubs became faster aswell)

Has anyone noticed a speedup in the processing time when sideloading books? It seems much faster to me, but I have only sideloaded in ones and twos, I don't know how it will be doing a big batch at once.

Other than that I haven't noticed any other speed improvements on my Glo, if anything it seems a tad slower than 3.13.1.

Epubs can now have hyphenation at the end of the first line of a paragraph. Great!

Well spotted! The Adobe RMSDK has had a minor update, so there could be other epub changes too.

Processing books after loading them is a lot faster in this firmware version (coming from 3.12).

However, maybe it's my imagination, but turning epub pages seems to have gotten slightly SLOWER on my H2O. It's hard to tell really.

I really wish the typography of the kepub renderer was nicer, as I would switch in a heartbeat otherwise.
