Trouble after software update....

I updated the software for my reader, but now I can't access the ebook store. Keeps telling me to check I'm connected to the internet but even I'm not that stupid!!!

Cananyone help?

Did you do both parts of the update yet (Reader firmware and ConnSoft)? The second part for the ConnSoft should have started automatically, but ....

If you decide to try re-installing ConnSoft, you can download the new version directly from Sony here.

The second part didn't start automatic with me. I had to check again for an update.

Hmm. Maybe I'm the only one who got the automagical second part -- at least I think it was automagical, perhaps I'm misremembering ....

Mine also required a second request for update. Plus the first part issued a message to disconnect the Reader and just sat there frozen with nothing to click on after I disconnected the Reader.

Well, at least Sony is good on their promise to increase "user interaction" with their readers. (Had to manually request second update also but it wasn't unexpected. Lots of updates come in sections.)

This happened to me as well......

Everything seems to be okay though from what I can tell.
