Book order in old and new readers
I have designed an ebook which sorts by author last name on my T1 and T2 after being loaded on to my reader with calibre.

But when it is read on a Sony 505 it sorts by author first name.

Has Sony changed the way ebooks are ordered between the earlier readers and the later readers? Is there some way I can get the ebook to sort by author last name on both readers?

In the "author" metadata field in the OPF file you should specify the author's name as "lastname, firstname". That will display on the reader as "firstname lastname", but sort by lastname.
