Well, we've decided to go ahead and get a k3. our friend is bringing it down to us in a couple of weeks, it's exciting!

IF YOUR NON-drm pdfs are mostly straight text with few pictures, graphs, text in columns, tables, ect then Calibre will do an excellent job of converting the book to Mobi format. It will then behave like a standard Amazon book with your choice of text size.
