landscape setting

On the KOBO site it speaks about going to the display button and lecting landscape as an alternative. Problem is there is no such setting.

Hmmm... I have not once seen a reference to landscape mode on the Kobo eReader yet. I'm hopeful it will be implemented in the future, but for now you're right that it doesn't have this functionality.

Can you provide a link to where you saw this? At the moment, I suspect you might have been reading about the Kobo apps for iPhone or BB or something to that effect.

Still it would be nice to be able to landscape mode on some books.

I found that landscape mode helped when reading pdf three panel comic strips.
