Rowohlt mit eigenem eBook-Angebot
Rowohlt hat mit Rowohlt Digitalbuch eine eigene Infoseite für sein Programm aufgemacht.
Verkauft werden sie laut eigener Aussage über rowohlt.de. Dort findet man (nur?) unter "Neuheiten" einen Link zu den Digitalbüchern. Inwieweit auch ein Verkauf über Shops wie Libri oder Thalia erfolgt, müsste ich noch prüfen. Als Format wird ePub genommen. Das Angebot selbst ist bislang äußerst dürftig, die Preisgestaltung nach unten optimierbar (um's mal höflich zu formulieren). |

Na ja: Beckett, Cornwell und von Kürthy ist ja schon mal lecker. Da ist wohl für Weihnachten für jeden was bei!

Positiv fällt mir auf, dass die meisten Titel weniger als 10 € kosten. Hoffentlich geben sie die Bücher auch an Libri, Thalia, txtr etc., da mich die Anmelderei in den verschiedenen Shops immer ein bisschen nervt.

Ja, das finde ich auch notwendig. Ich hab keinen Nerv für jedes eBook direkt auf die Verlagsseite zu gehen. Aber ich denke dass wissen die bei den Verlagen schon selbst. Erstmal ist der Schritt von Rowohlt zu begrüßen und auf viele weitere eBooks zu hoffen

Da gebe ich dir recht - wenn ich ein Buch beim Verlag direkt günstiger bekommen würde, dann wäre das mir der Mehraufwand wert. Den Gedanken könnte man natürlich auch gleich noch weiterspinnen und gleich den Verlag selbst auch noch wegrationalisieren und den Autoren seine Bücher direkt verkaufen lassen...aber ich glaube da geht dann die Diskussion zu weit off topic
Generell halte ich auch wenig von der rabiaten Preispolitik von Amazon oder auch Apple. Warum also nicht: Die Verlage vertreiben ihre Bücher selbst auf ihren Webseiten und eine unabhängige Linksammlung gibt mir dann eine komfortable Übersicht Damit es zu sowas kommt, muss aber erstmal das leidige Thema Buchpreisbindung angegangen werden |

Nein, ich kenne mich da weder rechtlich noch fachlich aus, um darüber eine wirklich kompetente Meinung abgeben zu können. Ich kann nur in Hinblick auf die Geschichte der Musikindustrie und die Perspektive eines Kunden meine persönlichen Schlüsse ziehen. Aber das wird dann alles Deswegen: Ich begrüße es, wenn sich wie Rowohlt mehr Verlage der digitalen Zukunft stellen. Je größer das Angebot an guten eBooks, desto besser! Ich freue mich darauf, wenn die anderen Verlage nachziehen und auch die Bestseller-Verfügbarkeit steigt. |

Macht's irgendwie persönlicher. Den Unterordner in den Bookmarks um die eBook-Shopseiten zu sammeln hat man ja doch auch schnell angelegt. |
