HD Fire HD whispersync not working

Anyone else having issues with their Fire HD whispersync not working for books?

I have the Kindle app on my android phone, Fire HD and Kindle Touch. The Touch and the phone have no problem syncing to furthest page read.

If the Fire HD is furthest ahead, that information isn't transmitted to the others....if the others are further ahead, the Fire HD won't sync forward.

If I had this issue on the phone, I could just delete and re-install the app but that doesn't work with the Fire, haha.

I've noticed the same issue on my original edition kindle fire. It just started happening within the past month. Books sync just fine on the iPad and iPhone, but not on the Kindle Fire.

I had no problem syncing books between my Kindle Fire HD and the app on my Windows Phone.

I noticed today that one book synced fine, though the book that I had been reading never would sync. I'm not sure what the difference was. I bought both over the last month at Amazon.
