I'm working on the third book in a series about a vampire named Celic Vadas. My third novel takes Celic back to the place where he was first released from his casket after being staked and becoming live bones. Travel weary and alone, except for a cream and blue cat, he seeks to find the reason he was directed to return.

Sheriff Dan Craft remains his chief opponent. Neva Thompson, married to an assistant pastor, still cares deeply for Celic. How much? Enough to help him find answers? Joey Whaler returns alone in a drunken stupor. Bob, half man, half monster follows behind the vampire leaving bodies while a shadows watches. Will this unknown individual be friend or foe to the vampire?

Lots of work to be done but I hope to have it on sale by next year.

The polishing stage of my new novel is done, and the working title is now considered permanent: Verdant Skies. The draft of the blurb:

But when a volcanic eruption threatens to finally ruin the already-collapsing ecosystem, the remaining peoples of Earth demand access to the satellites, and threaten to overwhelm them, thereby dooming all of humanity.

And as the satellites are under siege from below, a desperate gamble for the survival of the satellite Verdant is taken...

The next stage (pending any further rewrites) is packaging, including cover design and final formatting.

While I prepare the novel mentioned above (hint, hint) for release, I'm working on something light and sweet for the forum:

Denial of Service. The adventures of M.D. Schitz, an IT specialist who loses his job under strange circumstances, ends up in a strange town, and as he tries to figure out how to get his job back, fills in time by helping people with problems that can only be solved with his unique expertise...

The Stacy McCray Series will contain novellas and short novels designed to be read at one setting. They will be available on kindle and mobipocket under Beth Gray and the Stacy McCray Series. My intentions are to have a new story available every other month. If interested please see the latest review on the first story released a few days ago.

Oh - writing? The stuff people actually read?? I'm working on my Life in a Fairytale series - the alcoholic fairy godmother is about to be cursed with a spell that turns her naked every time it catches up with her.

I have just written and completed a story about how much I hate the facile, peurile and sickeningly celebrity-focused publishing industry (especially Random House, you die Random House, you go and die!). Oooh that rage was good.

The story is called That Sudoko Thing and is about last wishes, stupid readers and stupider writers
