Metadata.db can't be found
Nice to meet you all. COPS is a great add-on for my synology nas. COPS works well before I update the MariaDB and COPS (update form SynoCommunity) . One day, when I update the MariaDB and COPS, the COPS show me that the metadata.db cannot be found. I have tried to modify the permission of metadata.db to 'http' group, but the problem is still here. How should I fix this problem. Please help
The detail of my setting are as follow: 1. The permission of metadata.db is 'http'. 2. The open_basedir path has been added and it is right. 3. The metadata.db path of 'config_local.php ' is consistent with open_basedir. 4. The location of metadata.db is '/volume1/Books/metadata.db' 5. The Web Station and php services has been launched. 6. Synology Model DS 713+ (DSM 5.0-4482) Thank you very much!! Last edited by nchcalvin; 06-02-2014 at 10:22 AM. |

Does the directory containing your metadata.db also have the http permission ?

That's really strange could you try to see if https://github.com/seblucas/cops/issues/157 helps ?

there is no /etc/php/conf.d/com.synocommunity.packages.cops.ini on my Synology. Maybe it's a DSM 5.0 only thing?

Hey guys, I have fixed this problem. This problem seem to be caused by MariaDB. Please try to update the newest version of MariaDB and DSM (DSM 5.0-4993 Update 2).

But MariaDB is DSM5.0 only right? It's still an issue on my DSM 4.3 box.

Did you install the MariaDB addon? If you did, you should have received the update message of MariaDB recently.
