Content Server Problem - Wont Start
When I try to start the content server on Windows Vista I get an error
Port 8080 not free on '0.0.0.0' I just did an upgrade to Calibre today, it did work previously. However it has been about two weeks since I tried it. |

It works on vista here... Though I have UAC turned off, and I don't use the Windows firewall. You probably just need to set an exception in windows firewall if you use it.

i had a problem like this, with port 8080 not free on 0.0.0.0 but i could start the content server from command line...
the solution i found that worked best was to reinstall calibre in a new folder called software and not Program Files (vista home premium) and then change the port to 8084 or something like that |
