Afternoon all!
Finally found my way across here. Some names I recognise from Amazon boards here!
Have been loitering on various media for a while: spent November writing like a mad thing for NaNoWriMo, spent most of this month getting NaNoNovel 2009 through two sets of editors of varying harshness and a couple of beta-readers, and am hoping to finally upload sometime on January, dependent on how long it takes me to sort out the formatting. I live in the UK, and technically am not allowed to play with my Kindle till Christmas as it's a gift. The hour I spent on it yesterday was "set-up", honest guv'nor..... JAC. |

Hey, I know you. Welcome to MR. Good to see you made it. I don't think this forum is as active as the UK site we both frequent, but the people are just as nice. Enjoy.

Good to have your company, JAC. NaNoWriMo ain't a mere exercise in discipline. It can retrurn significant results. My own indie published an excellent novel late last year (*The Movie* by Bosley Gravel in the US) that started life as a NaNoWriMo. Twenty-eight days in the writing, almost a year in the edit process. The result is purdy darned neat. Very best wishes. Neil

Hey Joyce and Neil - thanks for the welcome.
Cassidy - good quote! Love a bit of Borges, esp the whole library-as-labyrinth thing. Imogen and Geoff, nice to meet you! Shazza, shhhhh! "Santa" might hear! heheheh... JAC. |
