It's the way I always did it. Then I know the iPad and iTunes are synced, but you don't have to.

Yeah, but if you were forced to have your tablet tethered to your PC to just make a folder, that would be a FAIL in usability.

Surprising since it didn't follow the annual release yes. Unsurprising since it would let Apple release all iUnits at the same time, exploit iOS releases in the marketing, introduce the Lightning connector on all iUnits, exploit christmas sales, and draw even further ahead of the competition.

Many more reasons for than against.
