Well, we've already established that Harper Collins isn't selling them on Smashwords. But contract disputes, especially with digital rights to older publications, aren't unknown. The question of geo-restrictions make sense, although if there is a contract dispute over the rights that would probably be part of the dispute.

I'm intrigued by the fact that Harper Collins has apparently not taken any action. It doesn't take too much effort to get a publication pulled.

I am more intrigued that the folks at Smashwords are that stupid to let some fakers pull this sort of thing over on them and get away with it. They must be dumber than dirt.

The Smashwords omnibus is VERY poorly formatted; the Harper-Collins versions are much nicer, and well worth paying for.
