How awesome is the voting spread at the moment: 6, 6, 7?

So what exactly is the point of the run off votes besides when there's a tie?

Go Neverwhere or Kraken! I'm waiting to vote. I'm either going to be a Kraken or Neverwhere lemming.
Having read Elfland, I think it would be great for discussion, but I think I would enjoy Kraken or Neverwhere more. |

I abstain.
I will be heading to the Honorverse once I'm caught up with the Dresdenverse. Happy reading, everyone. |

This is a real contest! Thirty-six hours to go, and it's too close to call. It could be any of the three!

If this year of the MRBC has taught me anything, its that I really can not force myself to read something that I am not interested in reading at the time.
I was really excited about reading The Princess Bride but it still didn't happen becuase my attention was (and still is) elswhere. I may go back and read the missed selections at some point, but I know it won't be now. This part of my 2012 challenge goal is officially a bust! |

^I know I would fail at trying to read every MRBC/MRLBC selection. Don't feel bad. I'm starting to struggle with my every letter and every decade challenges. I only crossed off 2 letters and 1 decade this month.

I doubled my reading goal for this year. Last year my goal was to read one book. I beat that goal with 82 books to spare (108 if you consider the letters of the Ante-Nicene Fathers I read as each counting as one book). This year I set as my goal two books. So far I've met that goal with 20 books to spare. If I feel confident enough, I may set a goal of three books in 1013.
I don't like not meeting goals. That's why I set them so low. |
