Mobipocket viewer for mac
I use Skim for pdf files which is a fast and neat program. Is there something similar for mobi files? I find the mobi viewer in calibre really slow.

 Where do you set up calibre to open up mobi files with Kindle for mac? Somehow calibre is set up to open pdf files with Skim, but I don't know where the settings are. |

Same as any other file on a mac:
right click on a mobi file Click 'Get Info' Change the 'Open With' option to Kindle for Mac Click the 'Change All' button |

Oh and then you need to tell Calibre not to use it's own viewer. That's in preferences under Behavior -> List of formats enabled for the internal viewer.
