My books were out there for all the judges’ eyes.
So now Hemingway up in heaven drinks for me,
Steinbeck says, “Well, that sure stinks” for me,
And Faulkner just stands in the corner and cries.

In honor of President Obama roasting Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, here’s a limerick from a while back:
Obama’s plane had just been boarded
For his African visit, it was reported,
But according to Trump,
This foreigner’s rump
Was actually being deported.

As one product ends another begins.
Its wine department is new,
Its adoption agency is too,
But the catch is you have to take twins.
