I'm trying to remember if it was a Jeff Noon or a William Gibson book that featured this idea years ago. Or was it Neal Stephenson? No, I think it was Neal.

Nice execution though.

Fear the day when e-ink covers EVERY AVAILABLE SURFACE. But I could use e-ink wallpaper.

edit: also, if bio-e-ink could be reprogrammed remotely, hackers would have a field day.

This video has been around for a few years, I REALLY want this. It would also be cool to have a computer that your skin was the touchscreen for... imagine a watch or instant data or whatever embedded into your skin. Tell me where to go to get it and I am gone today.

I like the idea but the noise is really kind of creepy. That combined with the woman's stare at the camera made this go from a potential sexy scene to some kind of horror torture scene or something.

I will say that it would make it more complicated than trying to hide a hickey - excellent for parents of teenagers?

If it were programmable, it'd be a great way to cheat on an exam, unless your arch enemy hacked in the wrong answers.

Or maybe the teacher hacked in a blank screen.

It'll probably cause cancer though.
