Just finished a delicious supper of a chicken and cashew nut stir-fry. Yum.

Lawn has been mowed, laundry is done, and almost 5 quart mason jars full of marigold seeds are packed away. My neighbors want some of the seeds for next year, so I will be sharing my seed babies.

Day 2 - no rain, breezy, humidity < 50% ....
1. Clean up storm debris from lawn 2. Whack down tall stuff 3. Mow lawn 4. Edge lawn 5. Be reminded by dizzy spell that you forgot to eat lunch first 6. Retreat, shower, and eat lunch 7. Glow with sense of successful accomplishment 8. Contemplate second shower from glowing too much 9. Open Guinness |

My neighbor dumped last years plant dirt into an empty hole (we've had trees removed to prevent the spread of an Ash bore insect) -- and the dumped dirt has sprouted an even better crop of marigolds than the newly potted ones beside them!

That's what happens with the dirt on mine too. My seeds usually produce bigger, fuller, marigold plants than those that I purchase also. I am hoping that the seeds from this year's purchased ones produce better plants next year, especially since I am giving away a lot of my seeds.
I repainted my all purpose wagon and put out a propagated jade plant that was a gift. The wagon's wheels can hold up to a lot of weight easily. I used it to transfer large river rocks and my dad can even sit in it while I easily pull it around. |

Just woke up to my one-day delivery Amazon package tracking saying it was delayed twice. Yuck, hopefully everything's ok.
Have other things on my mind though. So that's the least of my worries. |

So, Stella (my baby cat) (that now weighs 15 pounds) gets jealous of my spending time on the PC catching up with MR - so every time I sit down at my desk, she comes over, stands on her hind legs, and pats my leg or back or arm until I lift her up onto my lap. The power of cute!

I'm trying to figure out how to use my new (old) iPad. I guess it's fortunate that I've been using an iPhone for a while now, as they seem to be similar. The lady I bought it from re-set it to factory defaults, and I'm creating a separate library in iTunes so I can fill it up and get to using it. It seems there are a lot of very different apps that don't cross over...

About to embark on trying to get the Google App site to work on my Kindle Fire HD. I have finally got to the point where I am frustrated enough with apps missing from the Amazon store that work on Android, but which they, in their infinite wisdom (and no doubt sound marketing reasons) have excluded.
In this particular case it is snapchat, which all the rest of the family use on a daily basis to keep in touch, but which I can't join in with, despite having capable hardware. Wish me luck... |

Thanks. I did manage it with a minimum of head-banging, and now have snapchat installed on my KFHD. Doesn't work quite as smoothly as on the iPad (no notifications of new snapchats, for example), but it does the job .

I've discovered that the iPad is a much better Pornograph than the iPhone.
