Deleting books directly from Nook?

Is it possible to delete books from the Nook, or do you have to use the library software on the computer?

no at least not yet.

yeah you have to go into your account on BN.com and go to your library and delete.

but you can archive on the Nook itself, that will get it out of the way and cleans up the clutter without deleting.

That what I use.

How do you archive on the Nook? Does this function remove books from the My Documents view (I haven't bought anything from BN yet)?

No, archiving only applies to B&N e-books and periodical issues. It doesn't even apply to B&N samples or to loaned B&N e-books.
