[Q] Configure all downloaded comments to plaintext (what does this mean?)
Hi,
Love the new 0.8+ Calibre, great job. Anyways, under "Configure Metadata download" for the bulk download, there is a checkbox for "Configure all downloaded comments to plaintext." What does this exactly mean? Will it allow me to save (albeit) tiny amount of storage space by converting all downloaded HTML comments to text format? Just wondering because there is no description pop-up. Thanks. |

It saves the comments in plain text instead of HTML. You loose all formatting but some people don't want any formatting. It also makes it easier to format the comments yourself.
