bzfs bundle for the kindle 5
wow. the bzfs server runs like a dream
Just rammed a local client into it. FROM THE PC... very impressive performance. I am bundling just the server here... Quote:
readelf Spoiler:
To run: at the very least start this with the LIBS in your LD_LIBRARY_PATH however you want to do that. I configure my system as outlined at minimodding http://minimodding.com/article9-Kind...ng-custom-apps Usage: Spoiler:
These are the repackaged armels, with kindle built support libs. I shoved in bzadmin as well Cheers. Last edited by twobob; 10-09-2012 at 11:14 PM. Reason: I thought I would share. |

Okay so just to finish up this thread. The servers of course work fine.
Can now also run the clients via a combination of xdotool, SDL, and bit of scripting. ctng toolset may well also now allow for building the more complicated clients. With a sprinkling of graphics drivers we have a working FPS games machine. Happy days to us. Thanks for everyones input on the thread. All games driven by SDL gratefully accepted as suggestions for porting. We have TSLIB working now so interfaces possible. Thanks again. |

Just as a question: did you just chuck this at buildroot? or did you use the deb binaries? When I have time, I'll most likely have a play with buildroot for my Kindle...
