Android Amazon App store for Android launching this month

Last month at Mobile World Congress, we learned that there are now more than 150,000 applications in the Android Market, more than three times what it was just nine months ago. There was also plenty of buzz around the number of new handsets, tablets and connected devices that will soon be available. On our network, we continue to see brand and performance advertisers respond to this heightened consumer interest as they leverage mobile advertising to connect with their target audience, not only through the mobile web, but in applications as well.

That is good news--whether it proves better than the Google store or not. They're accepting apps, so perhaps it will launch before the end of the month.
