Bug? or recipe problem

Hi

The attached Daily Mirror news download has some comic strips (perishers, horace etc) that the cartoon image shows in calibre's viewer but not in android fb reader, moon reader, or official kindle pc program.

I don't think it's the recipe as i'm guessing it's down to calibre for the final output.

Any ideas?

Right click on the problem image in the calibre viewer and select Inspect, that will show you where the image is coming from, most likely it is a web link rather than an actual image file. calibre's viewer can handle remote images, most other viewers cannot.
