Thumbs down Is There a Way to Search For Calibre-Generated Covers

To be specific, not asking for books with no covers, I know how to search for that

covers:false.

I'm asking if there is a way to search for books that have covers generated by Calibre.

Is there a way to search for books with this type of Calibre-generated cover?

I don't think there is any way to identify the source of the cover.
Some books are imported with Calibre covers.
I think for others, the cover was added on conversion when no cover existed (in the Library view).
And lastly, when the Generate cover was pressed.

You might be able to use kiwidude' quality-check plugin. check the default size of a generated cover, and feed the dimensions into the plugin.

It should get them, but may miss some (if different size) and get some that aren't generated (which just happen to match dimensions)

Edit:
Generated covers seem to be 590x750

@Perkin - it isn't clear to me whether the OP is trying to detect Calibre generated covers inside the books or just the cover.jpg from doing their own generation. If it is just covers inside the books (e.g. they got the books from someone else, and their cover.jpg is completely different such as retrieved by download metadata) then Quality Check won't help them unfortunately.

However if they have generated the covers themselves using Calibre then certainly your suggestion has merit, and of course turning on the cover browser helps to give you a fast visual preview in bulk too.

You did see the part I mentioned about converting a book After a 'generated cover' had been made.

Also, the are now many generations of Generated covers in my collection. With some, the Calibre version number was what changed. There has also been a few 'style' revisions in the last year
We need a Optical Image comparator to examine the 'cover' image for certain Calibre cover image 'key points' (sort of what a '$ bill changer' does ) matches.

These two seem to be the only practical solutions. These covers stand out like a sore thumb in the cover browser.
