recommended napster clients??
A few friends and I are working on setting up a private napster network to share files amongst ourselves. We're going to try to use the sourceforge opennap project for the server. However, there are dozens of napster clients out there. Does anyone have any recommendations as to good ones? I don't want to try heaps of them...

Haven't looked at the opennap project lately, but at work we currently testing Mute File Sharing which works pretty well: http://mute-net.sourceforge.net/

Actually we just got started last night using WASTE (http://waste.sourceforge.net/) and it works great. Pretty easy to use and heavily encrypted for privacy. It makes a great small network with chat and everything.
Mute looks really good too, but we're not interested in anonymous. We want to discuss what we're sharing, give recommendations, etc. What do you use it for at work? |
