Fitzgerald, F. Scott: The Fiend. v1. 05 Jan 09

A minor F. Scott Fitzgerald story, but any Fitzgerald story is one for celebration. This one utilizes a sparser, more economical style of writing.

This is the 47th short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald that I've assembled over the past 4 days. There are only a few more remaining from my current source. I will try to present everything I can that is available and that is legal to upload. When I finish with this current batch, I'll start over on the four novels I assembled earlier on when I first started contributing to MobileRead; and after that, I'll work on the ones by other contributors here who have assmebled their own Fitzgerald. I'll improve upon my earlier books, such as the incorporation of em dashes in the text, etc.

Then I'll take a break and look at MobiCreator and try to put the Fitzgerald up for those owners who prefer the prc file format.

I have almost 500 unique titles (one-of-a-kind title) here on MobileRead, with only 3 - I think - that are actual duplicates. My goal is to go back into those previous books and improve upon them and to also make them available in prc, as well.

MY EDITORAL
: All the books by all the contributors here are hand-assembled with love and caring and, indeed, some certainly are presented better than others. There are some 'duds,' of course; that happens. But, as I said, all are hand-assembled and we take pride in our work. In my opinion, you won't find better presented books than here at MobileRead.

And now, to my current final paragraph:

Like all the books I assemble on MobileRead, this too was assembled to reflect human intervention and artistic judgment.

I hope you enjoy it.
