Just wondering why there is no rtf conversion
rtf is so common a format that I've been wondering why there is no format for conversion from rtf.

Same here and I'm also certain I didn't add any tweaks. You must have an rtf format for the book remember for rtf to appear in the Input format box. There's even an option for output to be rtf as well, although I don't know why anyone would want to use that one.

The RTF output is buggy. Your best off converting to HTMLZ and loading into your word processor and save that as RTF.

Plug ins are just that. Additional add ons that aren't part of the actual basic program. Most aren't very big as they fit in fairly small zip files so I can't see the removal of them as making much difference in the overall size of the program itself.

No, most plugin code is loaded only on demand (apart from a few, basic plugin types)
