Glory while it lasts ....
#1 seller of Kindle 2 jacket in E-Book Cases category on Amazon
Dear community: You have done some wonders for our company. Our recently introduced MaxGuard eReader Jacket became #1 in the E-Book Cases category on Amazon. This sales rank is updated frequently and will change subsequently; however, it is quite an excitement to see a new product rise to this level so soon after its introduction. Here is the information I copied from our product page on amazon.com under the sales ranking section. Amazon.com Sales Rank Popular in this category: (What's this?) #1 in Electronics > Accessories & Supplies > Office Electronics Accessories > E-Book Cases TrendyDigital MaxGuard Leather Cover for Amazon Kindle 2, Black http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0025LP6OM You can check the product and ranking from this link: So, thank you! people. Now, we will work even harder to develop more products with superior functionality and a trendy look. Please visit us at amazon.com and www.trendydigital.com |

It's a slick design, and given the degree of protection it provides, I'm sure it will remain popular with the people who don't see their Kindle as a fashion accessory/expression of individuality (as all of the threads about skins and ornamental covers illustrate). For them, though, slipping their Kindle into your case almost completely obscures the skin they've bought -- most of the cover designs that I've seen allow the entire front to be displayed, although only the ones with Amazon-style hinge mounts let the back skin show.

If you had a "right-handed" version I might buy one.

I second that thought - waiting for a "right hand" version.
I think the carrying strap is the best added feature yet. |

about right and left housing
Most people are right handed. By housing the kindle in the left side and holding it with the left hand, it is easier to use the right hand to write something in the notepad or navigate the keyboard or buttons. The downside is that the design won't benefit left handed people as much as right handed people. However, we do intend to produce another version of the case that has the Kindle housed in the right side of the case.
