problems with metadata download

I ran calibre in debug mode. Disabled all user installed plugins. Checked that the windows firewall has calibre listed in allowed programs. I am running windows 7 64 bit version and this is what the report said

What's this? Looks like you're using something on your own machine that proxies your HTTP & HTTPS connections (an antivirus program with webfiltering maybe?). That's probably what's tripping Calibre up.

Thumbs up metadata download issues

woh solved it finally
Start → Control Panel → Network and Internet → Internet Options → Connections → LAN Settings

and then

go to proxy server all boxes not checked and it starts working fine.

Thank you for this thread.
For a week I had download problems with metadata.
This was the solution. I also had checked to use proxy in lan.
Only don't know, how it got checked.
Wel now everithing is running fine again.
