Transfer of Power, 1st in the "Mitch Rapp" CIA agent political thriller series by Vince Flynn, is free courtesy of publisher Simon & Schuster, apparently because another in the series is coming out.

Currently free @ B&N, Amazon (available to Canadians, does not exist in the UK store), and iTunes (also available to Canadians), and as it's Agency-published, it should also show up elsewhere in the US, at least.

Cool, I have been wanting to read his books, but haven't gotten round to putting him on my to read list (got too many books to read =P) (agency model prevents me from getting them ahead of time as discount codes won't work)

This was actually the first ever commercial eBook that I bought on my Kindle. At the time (several years ago) it was quite appalingly formatted, and was missing most of its punctuation; in particular, it had absolutely no quotation marks in it, which made reading the dialogue rather "challenging".

Hopefully it's been improved by now.
