Dell Streak for $199 no contract from Dell.
Dell is selling the Streak for $199. No contract needed. If you are in California, don't let them try to overcharge you on tax.

What for it......

I called in about the CA tax overcharge. They said they would take down the product so that they can fix the CA tax calcuation. The dude said it would be back today. He said he would call once they had it back online, he hasn't called yet.

Hmm.... Looks like it might not come back online. They sold more than they hoped in the few hours it was up. Turns out they will automatically fix the CA tax after the fact in a day or two. We'll see.

I wouldn't mind having one just to have one. But, using it as my mobile...not gonna happen. If they could be used on CDMA (to my knowledge, they're stuck on GSM), I'd jump ship in a heartbeat. But, the price is/was pretty tempting.
