Nook won't read books on Extra miniSD Card?

I have a 2gb miniSD card in my Nook. I've never used it, but just tried to move some books to it from the main drive so I could put some audiobooks on the main drive which is apparently full. I am using Calibre and they transfered just fine...but then when I told my Nook to check for new content...it didn't find any of them.
Why is that?
Am I doing something wrong?

Side note, I also just discovered that doing this removed 100's of books from my shelves...bleh.

Did you eject both the sd drive and the nook from your computer before checking for new content?

When you eject the Nook from Calibre, it ejects the miniSD for you. I wonder if that is part of the problem.

mini sd-card probs

Hi, I have a 32 GB mini sd in my nc and have sometimes the same probs.
just open the cover for the sd card, eject it and press it right in.
without restart, you will find your books on that card

The problem/solution for me was that it seems like Calibre ejects both the SD card and the Nook when you eject one, but the Card wasn't being ejected properly so I just eject them both from the operating system and it worked.
