How do I tell calibre I have a different reader?

I was unsure what reader I was getting so I answered android when I was installing calibre, but now want to change it to ipad and dont know how to do it. I uninstalled calibre and reinstalled it, but it never asked the question again. Help p

Click the down-pointing arrow next to Preferences and select Run Welcome Wizard

Thanks so much, but I cannot find preferences, I've looked everywhere. Can you direct me in the right direction?

On mine, Preferences is the rightmost button in the Menu bar.

On calibe 0.7.24 toolbar the rightmost button.
You need to select from the drop-down menu; do not press the button !

I only downloaded it yesterday and it says it is version 0. 7.24. The right most button is a blue questionmark "browse the user manual". Is there supposed to be more to the right of that ie off my screen?

It should have a little picture of cogs and a little black arrow to the right of the cogs.

if your screen is small he button will be hidden, click the right arrow at the right edge of the toolbar

Note that once you have found the Preferences button then one of the options under it allows you to customise the order of the buttons on the Toolbar. If your problem was the buttons not fitting, then you might want to move the buttons you use the most to a position nearer the start of the toolbar.

Yes. Preferences is one right of the question mark.
