Highlights and bookmarks in browser (android)
Hi, highlights and bookmarks are stored in an opf file in the folder of the epub. I see they are earmarked "web" and "local" and it apparently is not permitted to see all highlights in the webbrowser. For me it would be enough if the highlights are created "local" and can be used read-only in the browser. (Best if shown in a separate column if possible.) We want to read and discuss a book with a few people and then having highlights and bookmarks available for all would be of great value.

No, they are not stored int he OPF file, the OPF file is a backup. And you can sync highlights between the viewer and the server, see https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/vie...hlighting-text
