Anyone get charged the 10 cent fee yet?
Have any Kindle owners who've used Amazon's wirelessly-send-to-kindle conversion email service been charged yet? The 10 cent fees haven't yet appeared in my account.
I'm wondering when they will catch up and which conversions it will apply to. I tried a few oddball submissions, e.g. a zip file that had a pdb file (which they won't convert). I didn't notice when I sent it, but the zip file also had a short readme txt file. The useless txt file was converted and sent to the kindle and I got email saying that the file I sent wasn't in a format they could convert. |

If you look at the Manage Your Kindle page, you'd see that they don't charge until it hits $3.
This is good for me, because I probably won't reach it until the end of 2008. |

Interesting, although it's very odd that they don't even list them as they accrue to $3. No way to tell if you are close to $3 or if they are even accounting correctly as they go along.
