Post on the Amazon Kindle forums.....

The Amazon Kindle team says:
We are currently experiencing high customer contact volumes. We are doing our best to meet this increased demand, but our current response times are longer than normal (and below the high standards we set for ourselves). We appreciate your patience while we work to improve our response times.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Please note that you can also find online help and answers to frequently asked questions on our Kindle Help pages located here: http://www.amazon.com/kindlesupport"

Hopefully, all the new sales will encourage publishers to get more books out there.......

You know, at some point this show will probably be re-run (before the 2.0 comes out) and it will happen again. They may edit out the discount or update it but I think we'll see it again.

Hopefully it will encourage publishers to actually post A WHOLE SERIES available for Kindle... instead of say, just books 2,4,and 5 (Where are 1 and 3??? ) I have seen this happen with a couple of series that look interesting, but who wants to start with book 2? I requested the missing books and hopefully they will be in, in a few months or so (by the time I get my Kindle and read a couple other books)

It took me an exceedingly long time to download a book this morning. I'm hoping this is just a temporary situation as people get used to their new toys.
